National Standards Authority Returned a Shipment of Substandard Construction Materials to Iran

Mil 78 Port, Farah – September 6, 2025

The technical team of the National Standards Authority at Mil 78 Port in Farah, during the assessment of a shipment of steel girders and C-channels with a total weight of 75 tons, determined that the materials did not meet national standards. For this reason, the construction materials were returned to Iran.

Controlling imported goods and verifying their quality is among the key priorities of this authority, and no substandard materials are permitted to enter the country’s markets.
