A meeting was held between Afghanistan National Standards Authority and the Ministry of Finance for further cooperation.

Engineer Zabiullah Zyarmal, Director general of ANSA met with Acting Minister of Ministry of Finance,Mohammad Khalid Payenda at the Customs and Revenue Department of Ministry of Finance,in the presence of Alam Shah Ibrahimi, Deputy of Customs and Revenue and other officials. The discussion took place on formation of ANSA and rising its employees salaries. Collaboration and coordination between ANSA and Customs department of ministry of Finance were further discussed.
Mr. Ziarmal has provided comprehensive information regarding the formation of (ANSA) and said that the (ANSA)is a technical and specialized Authority that has important and vital tasks. He announced the vacancy of 70 technical and professional positions  and called for serious attention in the field. He added at least 41 NTA positions are needed to advance technical and specialized work. 
The Acting Minister of Finance promised the necessary cooperation with the ANSA  and proposed the creation of a proposal  and drafting of a new salary scale plan by the National Standards Authority to fundamentally solve the existing problems and challenges.  Furthermore, the establishment of office equipment and facilities for port employees, raising the level of their salaries , hiring professional and technical experts in vacant positions were discussed. 
At the end of meeting an agreement was reached on the joint memorandum of understanding between the ANSA and the General Directorate of Customs to recognize the mutual responsibilities to advance the affairs in a better way.
