ANSA’s priorities, major achievements and future plans were shared with the media during a press conference

Eng. Zabihullah Ziarmal, Director General of ANSA shared the views, plans and successes of National Standards Authority in a joint press conference with media representatives.
The meeting was held at the Government Media & Information Center attended by Mr. Wahid Noori, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs of ANSA, MS. Sanaz Salimi, ANSA’s Technical Director General and Representatives of National and International Media.
The director general of ANSA briefed the attendance ten priorities of ANSA which include issuing of quality certificate, standards mark promotion, establishing star ranking system, assure consumer rights, providing quality certificate, supporting private sector, attracting private investment, buildings standardization, strengthening legal framework of ANSA, continues partnership with private sector, building strong relations with national, regional and international institutions and drafting a roadmap based on strategic plan. He also announced establishment of Metrology institute and permanent exhibition of standard products in near future.
Eng. Ziarmal spoked about the direct relation of standardization on welfare, health and safety of citizens of country and added; the importance of ANSA as a certification and accreditation authority in developing and establishing national quality infrastructure. Considering the current situation, we are changing that fortunately will achieve the great prospective of ANSA.
He also mentioned the necessary measures for regional economic convergence in the field of CAMCA countries and strengthening communications with international organizations, including membership of the International Organization for Metrology and continuous efforts to achieve membership of the ILAC, IAf.
At the end, leadership board of ANSA addressed the questions of journalists and provided satisfactory answers.
