Afghanistan National Standards Authority held an online meeting with the Republic of Uzbekistan's Standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency.

An online meeting was held between ANSA and the Republic of Uzbekistan's Standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency, in which Mr. Zabihullah Ziarmal, Director General of ANSA, Sanaz Salimi, head of Technical Directorate Rahmatullah Wali, Director of Planning and Policy, Reza Khademi, head of Metrology and General Director of The Republic of Uzbekistan's standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency were participated. Technically discussion took place on the bilateral MoU of technical cooperation.

In the meeting topics such as how to strengthen the relation in national quality infrastructure, eradicate technical barriers to trade and economic, ensure the products substitute and its safety to people live and health, the tendency to establish a basis for recognizing the results of conformity assessment of products were discussed.

The emphasized and stressed cooperation in the areas of standardization and metrology based on national and internationally organized principals within the framework of applicable laws and regulations of the two countries, which fortunately both sides shown mutual interest in technical cooperation that soon be signed between ANSA and Republic of Uzbekistan's Standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency.

The aim of this agreement is to provide a framework for collaboration between both sides, particularly in the areas of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment results.
