The Afghanistan National Standards Authority Has Acted Decisively in Providing Norm Identification Services for Ministries and Government Departments
In accordance with the Standardization Law and regulations, the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) is responsible for determining and identifying the basic fuel consumption norms for vehicles, machinery, power-generating devices and heating systems used by ministries and government institutions across the country.
According to reports from the Norms Identification Directorate of the National Standards Authority, specialists and technical staff of this directorate have established norms for 195 types of vehicles, machinery, power-generating devices, and heating equipment in the country during the month of Jadi (Dec-Jan) of the current year.
Norm identification services are of paramount importance in saving and efficiently utilizing the country’s financial and economic resources. Specialists at ANSA’s Norm Identification Directorate work tirelessly to accurately assess the fuel consumption of vehicles, machinery, and various devices.
Identifying consumption norms is a positive step towards standardization and resource conservation.
