The process of verifying and controlling the quality of construction materials at the country's ports is proceeding decisively and transparently
The National Standards Authority, with consideration for the health and well-being of dear compatriots and in support of consumers, has undertaken consistent efforts to standardize imports into the country. This Authority, through organizing the country's ports and controlling imports, has prevented the entry of substandard construction materials.
In the month of Qaws (November-December) of the current year, at eight ports — Farah, Herat, Hairatan, Aqina, Ghulam Khan, Torkham, Nimroz and Dand-e-Patan a total of 8,077 shipments of construction materials with a total weight of 304,650.367 tons, as well as 476 shipments of PVC, tiles and waterproofing materials (with a total measurement of 647,474.4 square meters) have undergone quality verification at the country's ports.
